High House

Foot Position

Place the feet so as to shoot the target 3/4 of the way from the CROSSING point back to the HIGH house. This is because we have doubles here we will stand to give us turning room for the low target as well.

Gun Hold Position

With the gun in the shoulder point it at the crossing point. Raise it to about 30 degrees

Look:

Cast the eyes up above the barrels to approximately 45 degrees from ground level.  DO NOT lift the head of the stock.

Lead 0 - 150 mm. below the target (experiment with the amount of lead you give this target)

Lets Call PULL:

WHEN READY call "pull" in a loud clear voice.

Look at the target, start moving the gun in a downward arc.

Establish a 0 - 150 mm. space between the target and the barrels (barrel seen only as a reference point),

pull the trigger and follow through.

See the target break.

LOW HOUSE

Foot Position

Place the feet so as to shoot the target 3/4 of the way from the CROSSING point back to the HIGH house.

Gun Hold Position

5.4 - 7 m. from the low house with the gun barrel slightly below the flight path of the target.

Look: Back to the low trap house (do not look in the opening it is to dark)

Lead 450 mm.

Lets Call PULL:

WHEN READY call "pull" in a loud clear voice.

Look at the target, start moving the gun.

Establish 450 mm. lead, pull the trigger and follow through.

See the target break.

Doubles:

Foot Position As for high/low house

Hold position As for high house

Look approximately 15 degrees above gun do not lift face from stock

Lets Call PULL:

WHEN READY call "pull" in a loud clear voice.

Look at the target, start moving the gun in a downward arc. Establish a 150 mm. space between the target and the barrels,

pull the trigger, see the target break after a short follow through look at and swing back to the low target either pull the trigger as you swing through or establish a 450 mm. lead pull the trigger and follow through.
